Flora of Wyoming Physaria didymocarpa (Hooker) A. Gray subsp. didymocarpa Hot Springs County: Mesa northwest of Anchor Reservoir, where Eagle Nest Ranch Road (Rd. 20) meets N. Fork Owl Creek. 43.6986*N 108.8783°W 6,710 ft. elev. Nearly barren slopes of butte, south to west facing. Soil sandy, de- rived from limey shale, but surface overlain with water-worked cobbles of igneous material. With Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Achnatherum hymenoides, Heterotheca, Lupinus and Penstemon. Corolla yellow. Fruits deeply notched but closed above, shallowly notched to cordate below. Rosette leaves entire, 2x toothed, 4x toothed, or lyrate.
