Nectandra coriacea (Sw.) Griseb.
BREVARD COUNTY: SE of Titusville, S of the Kennedy
Space Center Visitor Complex, ca 420 m NW of junction of
Kennedy Parkway North and McGruder Road. Area a
heterogeneous mosaic of citrus grove (highly degraded to
dead in spots), open disturbed areas, and hammocks
(largely native in some areas & thickets of invasives,
especially Schinus terebinthifolia, in others); hammock
with Sabal palmetto, Ulmus americana, Celtis laevigata,
Acer negundo, Carya aquatica, Quercus laurifolia, Prunus
caroliniana, Acer negundo, Carica papaya; Ilex vomitoria;
Ipomoea alba; Verbesina virginica. Small shrubby tree.
