FLORA OF THE CAROLINE ISLANDS Bixa orellana L. BIXACEAE CAROLINE ISLANDS NY, US KOSRAE: Utwe Municipality, along road from Utwe to Walung. Secondary vegetation through lowland wet forest and agroforest, with banana, coconut, and breadfruit plantings. Tree 4 m tall. Flowers with pink petals.
