KOSRAE: Utwe Municipality, along road from Utwe to Walung. Secondary
vegetation through lowland wet forest and agroforest, with banana, coconut,
and breadfruit plantings.
Tree 4 m tall. Flowers with pink petals. Fruits red, softly spiny; seeds with red-
staining arils. Probably planted along roadside. Rare in cultivation.
