sandy muck along dolomitic beach of Lake Michigan just
east of S. Lake Michigan Drive. 44.711727N 87.348017W.
Elevation 581 feet.
Small, wiry, rush growing to 8" tall in a small, semi-shaded patch
on limy muck of a dolomitic shoreline. Unusually low lake levels
have exposed more shoreline this year. Growing with *Juncus*
alpinoarticulatus, *Lycopus americanus*, and *Mentha canadensis*.
