Suriname. Sipaliwini. East Ridge Overlook (Tafelberg). Trail around the East Ridge overlook of the Tafelberg. Moist tropical forest of mixed hardwood species dominated by Clusia species growing on sandstone. The forest is very moist from the clouds which blow over the East Ridge, and there is a large volume of hepatics and mosses on the tree branches.

Description
Recumbent terrestrial herb .3-.5 m long over the edge of a wingswept cliff. The stems have roots formed near the internodes. Leaves are green above, purple-red underneath. Flower has 5 pink petals and white stamens.
