NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN 05123961 BOTANICAL, 97 Cfl Flora Mexicana Aliionia incarnata Coahuila, Mexico. + 72 air miles SW of Cuatro Cienegas at the Puerto de Ventanillas, a pass between the SE end of the Sa. de Delicias and the Sa. la Candelaria, on pure gypsum west-facing outcropings on the Sierra la Candelaria, where a strontium mine occurs (Mina Rompawala) about 1.4 miles east of the highway, Flora with: Fouquieria shrevei, Hedyotis teretifolia, Euphorbia spp., Anulocaulis, Dasylirion, Viguiera dentata, Hechtia, Acacia neovemicosa, Tiquilia greggii, Petalonyx, Jatropha dioica. etc. the population strongly flowering until 3:30 in the afternoon, fls. purple red, in mixed limestone-gypsum area, near 26°07’N, 102°43’W ± 1200 m.
