Qinghai Province, Nangqen Xian: Yushu Zangzu Zizhizhou.
Northwest of the city of Nangqen along highway S315 (formerly Xian
road X827) west-northwest of Shagai along a small stream entering a
tributary of the Za Qu (Za River), 32¦15141itN, 96¦18'15"E; 3985-4000
m. Narrow limestone gorge and adjacent meadow and thickets with
shrubs of Berberis, Cotoneaster, Salix, Ribes, Sibiraea, Spiraea and
occasional dwarf (< 0.5 m tall) Rhododendron. Plants with foul odor
when bruised; fruit green. DNA material available.
