Pothos chinensis (Rafinesque) Merrill
Guangdong Province, Huidong Xian, Huizhou: Northwest of the city of Haifeng
and east or the city of Huidong, SSE of Baipenzhu-zhen and SE of Fangtian on
minor road along branch of Baipenzhu Reservoir SSE of highway S356. 23¦2'8"E,
115 8'9'tv; 300-350 m. Mixed broadleaved evergreen forest, heavily disturbed,
with Quercus ana Lauraceae dominant and with scattered trees of Altingia,
Rhododendron, Rhodoleia and Viburnum and dense shrub thickets, colonial
bamboo and tangles of vines in understory. On steep bank, ca. 50 degrees, in forest
at edge of clearing. Stems somewhat hard and woody, trailing on ground, ca, 25-30
cm long; leaves dimorphic, those on 2-3 times longer than leaves on flowering
branches; inflorescence white; anthers yellow. DNA material available+
