Ecuador. Azuay. The eastern Cordillera, 4-6 km. north of the vilage of Sevilla de Oro.

Description
Plant basally woody, the branches almost vinelike, scrambling to 1.5 m. through low shrubs. Pubescence on stems deep reddish brown. Leaves deep green, nitid above; paler below. Bracts pale green. Ray and disc flowers yellow, the anthers yellow tipped with nigrescent brown. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
