    Bank of creek/ditch running through degraded seasonally wet prairie (former orchard, hayfield, pasture, etc.). Growing with Spartina pectinata, Leersia oryzoides, Sagittaria latifolia, Phalaris arundinacea, Carex vulpinoidea, C. lurida, & Persicaria hydropiperoides.

    One large clump in saturated soil at water's edge. Fresh flowers hot pink. Roots removed after collection was made.

This site retains a number of low prairie elements and is under
consideration to be some sort of hybrid conservation/recreation area,
