Pound Ridge. Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, former gravel pit, 750 meters
north of Reservation Road, 75 meters west of the Waccabuc river,
41.2654274 Lat, -73.5695624 Lon (WGS84 ±30m); 126 meters elev., Sandy
meadow, former gravel pit with Eragrostis spectabilis, Lespedeza capitata,
and Cyperus lupulinus ssp. macilentus.
Rare. This population greater than 50 plants Plants to 28 cm tall. Flowers
white, buds with pink coloration.
