    Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to 19 km along the road (BA-270) that connects the city of Santa Luzia, in Mun. Santa Luzia, to the city of Canavieiras, in Mun. Canavieiras, Bahia. Using Google Maps – Satellite View, located the two named cities and the road that directly connects them, BA-270. Beginning at the point along BA-270 closest to the approximate geographic center of the city of Santa Luzia (-15.4324181 -39.330368), used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps), to measure approximately 19 km (19.0001 km) along BA-270 in the direction of the city of Canavieiras (SE). Using Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs, found coordinates for the offset. Using Distance Measurement Tool again, found the linear extent of the starting location of the offset, the city of Santa Luzia, by measuring from the selected starting location along BA-270 near the center of the city to the farthest extent of the city (-15.4376046 -39.3238503). Input coordinates, linear extent (0.905208 km), measurement error (0.0005 km) and distance precision (1 km) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to the Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Offset: Offset along a path).
