under *Prosopis* canopy.
Tap-rooted annual to 5', occasionally branched from base; sap white, stems
erect, white; leaves dull green above w/ white midrib, below slightly glaucous;
inflorescence branches ± glaucous; flowers appear closed (12 noon)
