Herb to 30cm, flower with fimbriate petals, sap
clear.	N.V.:	ararats	(Shuar)
Principal interest: used against snake-bites.
About; 4cc. of juice mixed with water and taken orally
once or twice; this must be done soon after being bit-
ten. Said to prevent serious complications such as
intestinal hemorrhaging, altered mental status. To
keep preparation on hand:	four plants are boiled In l
liter of water down to 1/4 volume.
