  • Habitat

    Densely scrubby pinyon-juniper woodland on west and south-facing slopes. Cercocarpus ledifolius, C. montanus, Peraphyllum, Quercus gambelii, grasses and forbs in understorey. Single individual observed. Rocky soil on west facing side; light ashy-gray, sandy soil on south facing side.

    Low shrub 0.3 m high. Corollas light pink. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

facing slopes. Cercocarpus ledifolius, C. montanus, Peraphyllum,
Quercus gambelii, grasses and forbs in understorey. Rocky soil on
W-facing side; light ashy-gray, sandy soil on S-facing side.
Single individual observed. Low shrub 0.3 m high. Corollas light
pink.
