Sichuan Province, Gyangze Xian: W of Ganze (Gyangze) on
highway 317, then N on road at Ringo Xiang, then along Yalong
Jiang, then N along tributary of Yalong Hang, 31°49'45"N,
99°43'40"E; 3665 m. Meadow and Picea forest with damp mossy
forest floor along stream. Around shrubs at edge of forest. Petals
bluish purple, base inside dark purple; anthers yellow; stigma
purple.
