    Herb; perennial, 20cm max, but grows untidy, scraggly under shrub, stems; long re- root, length up to 50cm, leaves; opposite, simple, in pairs, smooth, margins’entire prominent mid vein, with obvious side veins, 20x35mm, flower; single, whitish to pale pink, small, 2 petals, one above, one below, fine, deep purple lines, 8-1 Omm occasional, native.
