Chara braunii C.C. Gmel. NE1/4 of SW1/4 Sec. 30 T031N R22W 45.14292 -93.13574 2.5 miles southwest of Lino Lakes. Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Preserve Growing near the northern shoreline of Baldwin Lake (ID 02001300), a 180 acre shallow, eutrophic basin situated in fairly level terrain. Part of the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes drainage system. Basin nearly completely Typha-fringed. Low shoreline development. Water clarity good to turbid. Individuals local, commonly found at site in 30 centimeters of water depth and shallower into the shore. Full sun. Associated with Chara globularis, Zannichellia palustris, Ceratophyllum demersum, Stuckenia pectinata, Lemna trisulca, Najas guadalupensis. Silt substrate. Elevation: 268 m. Courtney L.
