3.5 miles northeast of Mounds View. Growing near the southwestern shoreline of
Golden Lake (ID 02004500), a 60 acre eutrophic basin situated in fairly level terrain
in the Anoka Sand Plain Ecological Subsection. High shoreline development.
Clarity fair. Filamentous algae common. Individuals local, occasional near the
public water access. Growing in 30 centimeters of water depth. Associates include
Nymphaea odorata, Chara cf. contraria, Ceratophyllum demersum, Myriophyllum
sibiricum, Schoenoplectus tabemaemontani, Sagittaria latifolia, Typha sp., Lemna
trisulca, Potamogeton crispus, Najas flexilis, Nuphar variegata, Elodea canadensis,
Zannichellia palustris. Sand-silt substrate. Elevation: 270 m.
