5.5 miles northwest of Wyoming. Martin-Island-Linwood Lakes Regional Park.
Growing near the northern shoreline of Island Lake (ID 02002200), a small 70 acre
eutrophic basin situated in fairly level to rolling tenain in the Anoka Sand Plain
Ecological Subsection. Basin with a completely undeveloped, 7y/?/ja-ffinged
shoreline except for park beach on eastern side. Water clarity good. Individuals
locally common, carpeting the lake bottom in a small area in 1.2 meters of water
depth. Associates include Utricularia vulgaris, U. gibba, Potamogeton natans,
Nymphaea odorata, Nuphar variegata. Sand-silt substrate. Elevation: 272 m.
