4 miles southeast of Ely. Growing in the southern half of White Iron Lake (ID
69000400), a large 3,200 acre basin situated in the Border Lakes Ecological
Subsection. Tea-stained water. Near the northeast shoreline of an island; at least
partially sheltered from wave action. Individuals locally sparse, fully submerged in
15 centimeters of water. Associates include Littorella americana, Vallisneria
americana, Eleocharis sp. Gravel substrate. Elevation: 422 m.
