4.5 miles north-northeast of Stillwater. Growing near the eastern shoreline of Little
Camelian Lake (ID 82001400), a 150 acre oligotrophic basin situated in the St.
Paul - Baldwin Plains Ecological Subsection. Water clarity excellent, blue-turquoise
in color. Water levels are low, exposing sand-gravel shorelines and submerged trees.
Shoreline and littoral zone gradually sloping. Individuals locally common; majority
have senesced. Fully submerged in 15 centimeters of water. Associates include
Lychnothamnus barbatus, Nitella tenuissima, Zannichellia palustris, Najas jlexilis,
Myriophyllum sibiricum, Potamogeton amplifolius, P. robbinsii, Heteranthera
dubia, Stuckeniapectinata. Sand-gravel substrate. Elevation: 259 m.
