Description
Shrub 7 ft high; bark brown and gray mottled, smooth; wood dingy white, tasteless, with a faint foetid odor, moderately hard; branches not numerous, rather slender and widely spreading; leaves descending, coriaceous, dark green above, only the tips recurved, much lighter green beneath; infrutescence axilary and terminal, several, upon short branched green branches; calyx persistent, yellowish green; fruits obovoidly ellipsoid, or slightly flattened, velvety yellowish brown; seed shining, nearly black. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
