On gentle north and eastern mountain slope and dry streambed, in full sun. In well-drained soil of alluvial sand in rock cracks. Native and common. Mountain desert.

Description
Annual herb of 50 cm high. Petiole 10 mm long. Simple leaves opposite, glabrous, 15x8 mm, leaf margins dentate. Raceme with white, irregular flowers, corolla 20x1 mm, lobes 5 mm across.
