Along dry streambed, in foil sun. Well-drained sandy sod of granite-quartzite. Native and common. Succulent Karoo with Wellstedia, Boscia foetida, Euphorbia, Lycium, Rhus and Zygophyllum.

Description
Annual, prostrate herb, 10-15 x 30-50 cm with spreading branches. Leaves alternate, simple, hairy, greyish, leaf margins entire. Small white flowers in racemes.
