11 miles east of Backus. Growing on the western shore of Hay Lake, a 360 acre
lake in the Pine Moraines and Outwash Plains subsection. Submerged in 6 inches of
water in sand substrate. Partial shade. Associates include Nitella tenuissima,
Eleocharis acicularis, Najas flexilis.	Elevation: 407 m.
