TROEMIA OVATA C. A* Mey.
Fernahdez-Villar considered thàt Blanco correctly interpreted
the Linnean Daphne indicai Wikstroenda indica Mey and re-
duced to it Blanco's Daphne foetida. Both of Blanco'^ species,
however, are manifestly Wikstroemia ovata Mey., a species based
on Philippine material.
Illustrative specimen from Bauang, Batangas Province, Luzon,
February, 1915, there known as salago (Merrill: Species Blan-
¿oanae No. 801).
