Open lot exit to beach road.: 33° 20.795’ S: 18° 9.275’ E On moderate to steep northern slope of calcareous hill on coastal plain, in full sun. In well-drained soil of calcrete sand. Native and common. Fynbos, with Pelargonium, Rhus sp. and Euphorbia spp.. Dwarf shrub, 70 cm high. Petiole 10 mm long. Simple leaves, alternate, glabrous, spathulate, 100-120x50 mm, coriacious, leaf margins entire. Pink trumpet-shaped flowers, 10 mm long, in compound racemes. 00211548 H. J.
