Vanuatu: Tafea Province. Futuna Island. Rakauroa
area, inland from Ipoa village (Mission Bay), on
plateau.
S 19° 31' 27.8"; E 170° 13* 23.4"; 156 m elev.
Unbranched to sparsely branched tree, 3-3.5 m tall.
Growing in dense forest on the upper, flat area of the
island. Inflorescences cauliflorous, densely covered
with bracts (green turning tan). DNA, Digital image.
