Because of the inability to locate the road and "Carmichael's" place, georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of the Van de Cans airfield (Aeroporto Internacional de Belém) in the city of Belem. Used Google Maps - Earth View to find the airport in the city of Belém, Pará. Used the Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center of the airport. Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool to find the linear extent of the airport by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the airport. Input coordinates, linear extent (1730.0 m), and measurement error (5 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Named Place: Defined Area).
