. Shrub, 15» tall, fairly dense,	±	pyramidal
crown ascending branches, single stem, 4,!	d,	at	base. In
leaf *lves. slightly hairy, Fr, dark green, Bark slightly
rough, pale brown with thin, loose irregular flakes. Stem
slightly fluted. Bark on upcer branches smooth, bright brown.
Slash OB	0.3	cms, grey, thin green line.	IB	buff, streaked,
granular,	0,4	cms* Ripe fr* black, hard.
Habitat In unusual position (?) - in open scrub mopane
savanna on he^7 h-salt soil, with Terninalia randii,
Combreturn imberbe, C. apiculatum, Ft erocarpus rotundifolius,
