Habitat
This plant in open ground on wet sand. Mixed restinga vegetation on sand, with high forest, low trees and shrubs, and sedge meadow with open wet areas on white sand.

Description
Erect herb to ca. 50 cm. Leaves pale green. Bracts dull green with brown margin, petals yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
