Forest margin on mountain slope in well-drained loam soil of granite. In partial
shade to foil sun on a moderate slope. Common and native. Forest with
Xymalos, Combretum, Solanum mauritianum and Setaria.
Perennial, succulent climber in forest canopy. Petioles 60 - 70 mm long. Leaves
simple, alternate, unequally lobed, 80 x 80 mm leaf margins dentate.
Capitulums in terminal clusters, ray and disc florets yellow.
