a bare trunk but branches crowned with large oblong
bright green leaves with about 20. dead ones persisting
below* Eanlele terminal,, much branched with numerous
lemon-yellow rayed capitula, involucre bracts tinged red
panicle about inu long., erect, old panicle at sms fften
persisting amongst the ltenrer dead and;, dry leaves*
aeepage zones; with Hagenia anthe>lmi-
ntica, Ericaceae Py&eum airicanum, Hidorella vernoniodes
Hypericum lanoeolatua andi Helichrylua firuticosum.	’
