In pasture on gentle slope of hilltop, in foil sun. Well-drained rocky soil of
dolerite sandy loam. Grassland with Themeda triandra, Cymbopogon
plurinodes, Aristida congests and Rhus ciliata.
Perennial dwarf shrub, up to 80 cm high. Leaves alternate, simple, leaf margins
entire. Yellow disc florets only, in a capitulum. Native and common.
