Well-drained sand of granite-quartzite. Full sun. Native and common. Succulent Karoo with Wellstedia, Boscia foetida, Euphorbia, Lycium, Rhus and Zygophyllum. Perennial herb up to 60 cm high, Leaves alternate, simple, bright green, 40 x 15 mm, covered in sticky, glandular hair, leaf margins dentate. Capituium with yellow disc florets only. H. J.
