Depression in well-drained sandy soil of tertiary sandbeds, in partial shade to frill
sun. Common and native. Coastal forest with Acacia karroo, Dactylotenium and
Panicum sp.
Perennial grass, spreading by stolons, rooting at nodes, 40 cm high. Leaves
simple, alternate, linear, 100x10 mm. Spikelets in panicles with 2 to 3 branches.
