On gentle hill slope in pasture, in frill sun, in well-drained soil of shale loam.
Native and common. Savanna with Acacia, Sterenlia.
Perennial tree of 10m high. Leaves compound, hairy, alternate, margins entire.
Inflorescence a panicle. Flower with flag mauve, wings and keel, dark purple.
