Field Chan Emergent tree towering above canopy,
40 m tall, dbh 110 cm, buttresses 1 m high, 3 m
out, bole straight and clear ca. 20-25 m; bark
ashy gray-brown, slash brown; fruits green w/
purplish brown wings.
Locality: Palawan: Municipality Puerto
Princesa, Irawan, forest above Impapai, behind
the BFD Field Station.
Habitat: Primary forest along ridge on E-W
axis, with Pometia pinnata and
Koordersiodendron pinnatum.
