power substation, 20 km east of Alexander Bay: 28° 32.82' S: 16° 35.955' E
On gentle NE slope of rocky ridge, in well-drained sandy soil pockets among
rocks of old blue calcrete, in foil sun. Native and locally common. Desert to
Succulent Kamo with Euphorbia hamata, Dregeochloa, Conophytum and
Pelargonium.
Perennial dwarf shrub. 20 cm high. Leaves opposite, simple, succulent. pale
brown. Flowers solitary, greenish white.
