At foot of rocky ridge on moderate eastern slope, in well-drained sandy soil of
calcrete, in frill sun. Native and locally abundant Desert to Succulent Karoo
with Euphorbia sp. and Juttadinteria.
Perennial dwarf shrub, 20 cm high. Leaves opposite, simple, succulent, linear 5*
6 x 1 cm, glaucous. Flowers solitary, pale pink, noctiflorous, opening at about
17:00.
