Bukit Baka National Park. Across river, 100 m north
of camp. Bank above Sungai Ella and environs.

Habitat:
Mixed dipterocarp forest, associates include Shorea,
Myrtaceae, Meliaceae, Euphorbiaceae. Red clay soil.
Field Char:
Small tree 2 m tall, 2 cm dbh. Bark brown. Leaves
coriaceous, glabrous. Flowers cauliflorous, cream
yellow. Stamens bright yellow, abundant.
Notes:
Local name: putat.
