Open forest with palms and weak presence of Guadua sarcocarpa, canopy ca. 25 m. Deeply dissected terrain. Many Marantaceae, few lianas. Rare. Sandy clay soil.

Tree. Tree 6 m, corolla white, anthers yellow. In middle of pasture, spared by the owner because of its ornamental flowers. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
