Saurauia verheijenii Hoogl.
In gully of Tsuntsarompe creek near
Nderu village, ca 2 km due W of Ruteng;
W. Flores, Lesser Sunda Islands.
A few trees along creek in deep gully;
alt. ca 1200 m.
Tree, 6 m tall, 7 cm diam. Leaves dull
mid green above, pale green below.
Flower buds mid green. Scales on young
leaves etc. brown, on older ones pale
brown.
