Coastal forest on a hill slope, in shade to partial shade, in well-drained to moist
soil of recent sand. Native and common to abundant. Along forest margin.
Perennial prostrate herb with trailing stems of 1.5m long. Leaf sheath with
hooked hairs. Leaves simple, alternate, pale shiny green beneath, 100x20mm,
margins entire. Flowers terminal, solitary, yellow, 15mm in diam..
