  • Description

    Tree 20 m high. Clear bole 13 m, 25 cm dbh, without buttresses. Outer bark 0.2-05 mm thick, grey, rather fissured, not peeling off. Inner bark 1.5 mm thick, cream-coloured, without exudate. Fl cream-coloured. Fr. mature, dark purple, seed 1, with thick, sweet edible sarcotesta.

Fruits are collected in the forest and
sold on the market for consumption.
