Large shrub. Growing along trail in littoral forest, 200 m
from lake beach. Corolla pink, calyx cream colored to
greenish-yellow, filaments white, anthers light yellow.
Style exerted past multiple stamens. Silica sample
deposited in NYBG Cullman Lab tissue collection.
