    Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to the area considered to be south of the city of Sena Madureira and nearby Rio Iaco in Acre, Brazil. Using Google Maps - Earth View, located the city of Sena Madureira along Rio Iaco. Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool to measure a straight line from the approximate geographic center of the city of Sena Madureira to the nearest named place south of the city, Boca do Macauã, then halving this distance to find the midpoint of the line. Chose a point along the shore of Rio Iaco nearest to the midpoint of the line; used the Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates. Input coordinates, linear extent (distance from the selected coordinates to the center of Sena Maduriera, 6400 m), and measurement error (2.5 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Offset: Direction only, no distance).
