Habit etc. Climber (on Acacfca albida pole. Thick woody
stem (ifl) diam., Bark pale brown, sappy. Thinner shoots red.
Slash of main stem pale green. Loosd spreading crown, grow-
ing up to lifcfcle more than man-height, but some vines 20f
long. Marked hooked thorns on the sappy stems, leaf rachis,
calyx & epi-calyx, Epi-calyx with pronounced appendage. Ca4
yx, epi-calyx & Ives, hairy. Plrs. yellow with purple centre
The creeper forms a dense mass of foliage spread out over
crown of	At	end	of	firing	season	many	ripe	fr.
Growing on alluvium near running water. Not common in the
Valley.
