    Tree 20 m, 80-100 cm dbh. Base of trunk slightly fluted, for bark and slash see photos. Young flush leaves lime green. Older leaves dark green. Fruits from forest floor. Closed pods and open valves. Seeds with a thin testa, shiny, ochre brown.
